Flickr applications
Take a look around my site. there are (or were) three slideshow applications in various places. One is a simple slideshow to the right. The other is a flash badge of a bunch of itty bitty squares. The last is the obnoxious bar beneath my main title bar. Which one should I keep?

Towel Day
Today, May 25th is Towel Day. I, with hundreds of other Hitchhiker's Guide fans, will be travelling with my towel all day. I hope to hitchhike to the universe.

Dusty Vegas Night
So last night the wind in the valley took lots of dirt into the air and gave everything a nice unearthly glow. I went out to get a few shots and ended up sneaking into the Clark County Heritage Museum at 3 a.m.

Dinosaurs.
Seriously people. People who were kids during the dino-craze of the 90's (Jurassic park came out in 1993. Scary, I know.) are going to start snatching up merchandise associated with anything dino-riffic very soon. As in it's probably already happening. I just purchased a book about dinosaurs I haven't thought about for years because I felt nostalgic.
I recommend that anyone holding onto dinosaur memorabilia hand it over to me immediately.

What I hate about pop culture.
What I hate about pop culture is that it can champion the world's shittiest ideas, (American Idol, Big Brother TEN, Gossip Girl, A show starring Paris Hilton, A show starring the fact that Paris and Nicole don't like eachother, A GAME SHOW featuring the host ruining marriages) but also be so spot on with other things. (House, Dexter, etc.)

It's happened. The Alystra is gone.
The beloved Alystra burned down today. Local kids, photographers, vagrants, and explorers mourn this loss.
However, two girls are totally stoked.

1990's Dinosaur obsession.
My childhood is awash with a rediculous obsession with dinosaurs. And, now that I'm old enough to look back on it I find myself yearning for the media I obsessed over as a child.
Some of this I cannot find, because it came before the time of the internet. Any help locating some of these would be greatly appreciated.
What I have found is:
Wee Sing Dinosaurs
We're Back
Prehysteria
The Land Before Time
What I have yet to find is:
A book from a las vegas library with black and white images of dinosaurs in city settings. The images were realistic and not cartoons, which is why I loved it so much.
A CDrom that was essentially a dinosaur encyclopedia. You could click on names and it would take you to pages explaining dinosaurs. I specifically remember the video of a

I have artwork on display.
I had absolutely no idea, but apparently I am displaying artwork. The front door gallery now holds my five prints on pedestals. So if you live here or are in town, check it out. The gallery is located just as you walk in the main entrance of the Church Fine Arts building on campus. I'll post pictures of... my pictures on display tomorrow.
